Learning to code is empowering and can help bridge the skill gap as well as the gender gap in the workforce. The idea of this boot camp is to equip young girls and women with coding and some essential business skills which can help them in starting or advancing their careers. We have handpicked our trainers and partnered with entities that align with our mission and the support we have received so far is so overwhelming. I am really hopeful that this program can make a difference and we will be able to continue this effort for the years to come.

CodeGirls is a transformative female empowerment initiative that will facilitate young women to excel in the field of information technology as well as help cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset for participants. As part of its Mission to empower women and children, UNITED GLOBAL INITIATIVE (UGI) is delighted to partner with ConsultNet in enabling more Pakistani women to enter the tech arena.

There is a wide gender technology gap and this program can become a milestone in our journey to become a truly inclusive industry. Technology has changed my life too, from a mother of two to a company’s COO, I have come a long way and it all started with a single step of getting enrolled in a technology education program and now I want to help other women get the same kind of access to training and opportunities.
